Our Line Of Products

Products for parquet floors

ICA's line of products for parquet is completely comprehensive, it includes: products for the treatment of the subfloorings, adhesives, fillers, coatings for solvent based, water based and flame retardant painting cycles, products for oil and wax treatments, products for maintenance, abrasives and all the accessories that are needed in the various processing phases.

Water based products are increasingly popular on the market due to their absence of VOC emission and unpleasant smells, ease of application, versatility, exceptional aesthetic-quality results and the excellent chemical-physical resistance of the top coat. ICA's water based bicomponent polyurethane coatings have received an award from the European Commission's LIFE program, a program which rewards highly innovative, environmentally friendly projects. This is another example of ICA's efforts to find a solution to environmental problems, through high technology products, which directly affect the health of the operators.

Aseptica sanitizing coatings

The main characteristic of the new coatings in the ASEPTICA range – which are available in transparent and pigmented versions – is that they render the surface onto which they are applied microbiologically clean. Thanks to the fact that coatings contain a compound of micro-particles, they produce a long-lasting sanitizing effect. The particles act on a wide array of bacteria and mold, protecting the coating not only once it has been applied and has dried, but also when it is in the liquid state.

Thanks to its sanitizing characteristics, the new range is particularly recommended for the coating of premises open to the public, children's bedrooms, kitchens, bathroom furniture and all other furnishings that are used for purposes in which maximum cleanliness is essential. Accordingly, the ASEPTICA range also includes a bicomponent water-based coating for parquet – a material that is being increasingly used in the furnishing of kitchens and bathrooms, where it is particularly important to ensure that the surfaces are microbiologically clean.

Stain Mix tintometric system

STAIN MIX is a highly innovative tintometric color system that is renowned for its capacity to deliver simple and effective solutions to the problems of wood coloring, giving several tangible advantages and savings when compared to other production systems. STAIN MIX was designed not only to facilitate the coloring process for manufacturers of wooden products, but also to school those manufacturers in how to select and produce colors for themselves. As such, STAIN MIX is far more than a series of wood colorants, a new color chart or a new catalog - it is a system that affords the user the possibility of formulating and preparing an extremely extensive range of wood colorants. STAIN MIX is a simple and effective system, making it all the more practical and easy for customers to use. It is also flexible and comprehensive, as the user can mix and match two different types of colorant: IN and CNA.  The IN series is composed of solvent-based colorants, which may be diluted with solvent or water, while CNA-series colorants are water-based.

Water-based coatings for exterior frames and shutters

The use of water-based coatings on exterior frames and shutters is now commonplace, thanks to the numerous advantages such coatings provide: reduced emissions of solvents into the atmosphere; short application times; excellent elasticity of the coating film and resistance to temperature changes and atmospheric agents; maximum coatability and absence of any risk of self-combustion on the part of the spray fumes.

Coatings for interior furnishings

The ICA Research & Development laboratory is constantly engaged on the study of solutions that have what it takes to enhance interior furnishings, thereby protecting and making the most of the style, creativity, design and quality of the products that furniture companies manufacture day in, day out.
The IRIDEA range for interior furnishings comprises products of various types: from coatings with low levels of environmental impact (water-based or high-solid UV) to fire-retardant coatings and traditional polyurethane and polyester coatings.

Water-based coatings for glass

ICA's glass range is composed of transparent and pigmented odorless monocomponent water-based coatings that, due to their low levels of volatile organic substances, allow for compliance with the regulations on the limitations of solvent emissions into the atmosphere. The wide variety of effects that can be achieved with these coatings represents something of a revolution in the glass-coating sector. Moreover, the products are non-flammable, making them easy to store, and dilutable in water, so they are simple to prepare and use.
